Locally made canvas wrap giclee! These are the highest quality giclees made archival materials; these are hand stretched and coated with a protective UV varnish. They are aready to hang! The original oil stick paintings were all created 'freehand'; the oil sticks were applied directly with hands/fingers. No brushes nor tools/instruments are used to apply the medium. They are meant to be vibrant, expressive images- not precise nor realistic.
EVENING BLU is about color and visual ambience of Lake Michigan, oceans, seas, depending on the light, weather, location or time of day. There is atmospheric element to this style of my painting- from a sense of light, space, air- all giving a sense of special ambience, which one experiences on lakes, oceans, seas.
The glazing and medium coating with light reflection, makes it difficult for the non professional camera to capture the opacity and diversity of the oil colors of this original painting.
Reminder: EVENING BLUE canvas giclee is a high quality giclee reproduction of the original metal piece, which was painted with oil sticks and coated with an acrylic medium. The reproduction giclee does not have the same glaze sheen as the original metal and finish. The professionally captured image is the most accurate in giclee representation. Please view video to see that there is no real 3d hardware nor holes.
